Conference scope

Conference TAE 2016 publishes research in engineering and physical sciences that represent advances in understanding or modelling of the performance of biological and physical systems for sustainable developments in land use and the environment, agriculture and amenity, bioproduction processes and the food chain, logistics systems in agriculture, manufacturing and material systems in design of agriculture engineering.

Topics:

  1. Agricultural engineering
  2. Automation technology
  3. Biosystem engineering
  4. Energy and renewable energy
  5. Engineering technology
  6. Mechanics and material science
  7. Production engineering
  8. Vehicles and logistics
  9. Related topic

Conference TAE 2016 generally does not accept papers in the following areas:
  • Simulation with no experimental verification and/or which gives no new insight into the process.
  • Experimental reports which do not provide a convincing analytical or physical explanation of observed behaviour.
  • Statistical methods or techniques from Artificial Intelligence which tread the process as a black box.

The scientific programme of the conference will include several invited lectures and free communications submitted by participants. Authors of free contributions are expected to present their paper preferably as a short oral communication. Poster presentation is acceptable on request only.

The conference will start by the opening ceremony scheduled for September 7, 2016 (Wednesday) morning. The ceremony will be followed by the plenary session with invited lectures. Afternoon parallel sessions and workshops will be organized.

On Thursday (September 8, 2016), several invited lectures will be presented during the morning session. It will be followed by parallel sessions and workshops. The conference programme will be closed on Thursday afternoon. An optional sight-seeing of Prague will be organized on Friday.

Language:
The official language of the conference is English.

Technical Support:
Computer and data-projector (Power Point) will be available. If other equipment is needed, please contact the Scientific Secretariat before August 31, 2016.

Oral Presentations: Plenary lectures are limited to 30 minutes. Free oral communications in symposia are limited to 15 minutes followed by 5 minutes for discussion.

Poster Presentation:
Posters will be displayed throughout the whole duration of the conference. Discussions will be organized daily during the coffee breaks and lunchtime.

The recommended size of each poster is 120 cm (height) and 85 cm (width), approx. "A0" format.

Please note that the presenting author of the paper must be registered for the conference and pay the registration fee.

When submitting your paper please do not forget to mark your presentation preference (oral/poster) and the appropriate topic.

Proceedings of the TAE 2007, TAE 2010 and TAE 2013 were reviewed and then included in the CPCI database of the "impact conferences". The proceedings of the TAE 2016 will be also reviewed and the members of the Scientific committee will do their best for inclusion of the book in the CPCI database.
